Jason Berrio

Vice President, Operations

As vice president of operations, Jason Berrio is responsible for TECO’s operational leadership; NERC compliance; and energy efficiency, management and procurement. He joined TECO in 2017.

Brewster, Clarissa

Clarissa Brewster

Human Resources Administrator

Clarissa started at TECO as a receptionist in 1991 and is now TECO’s human resource administrator. Her responsibilities include recruiting and handling compensation, employee benefits and payroll.

Daniel, Jim

Jim Daniel

Procurement Manager

Jim Daniel has been at TECO since 2002, currently serving as procurement manager. He is responsible for maintenance, repair and operation supplies, project purchase and vendor insurance certificates.

Garcia, PE, CEM, Jose

Jose Garcia, PE, CEM

Operations Manager

With TECO since 2007, Jose Garcia, PE, CEM, is responsible for the safe and reliable production of steam and chilled-water and oversees the company’s 48 MW combined heat and power plant.

Giblin, CPA, Kevin

Kevin Giblin, CPA


TECO’s Controller Kevin Giblin, CPA, helps direct and administer the company’s financial operations. Kevin also supervises the monthly and fiscal year-end close process, A/P, A/R and TECO's 401K Plan.

Goonie, CEM, Ram

Ram Goonie, CEM

Energy Director

Ram Goonie, PE, CEM, joined TECO in 1981 and currently manages the daily operations of TECO’s CHP plant and schedules TECO’s energy needs. He also provides customer service and oversees billing.

Jewell, PE, Mycah

Mycah Jewell, PE

Incoming Maintenance Manager

Mycah Jewell, PE, is TECO’s incoming maintenance manager. He was previously senior project engineer at TECO, performing engineering duties, project scheduling and contractor oversight.

Kelly, PE, MEng, Austin

Austin Kelly, PE, MEng

Electrical Engineer/Information Technology Manager

Austin Kelly, PE, MEng, is responsible for design and support for plant electrical systems, developing and managing capital projects, and overseeing the maintenance and operation of IT systems.

Lambert, CPA, Roger

Roger Lambert, CPA

Vice President, Finance

Roger Lambert, CPA, started at TECO in 1989 and has held increasingly responsible positions within the company. He is currently vice president, finance, and is also responsible for HR and procurement.

Manoucheri, PE, Michael

Michael Manoucheri, PE

Incoming Vice President, Engineering and Maintenance

TECO’s incoming Vice President of Engineering and Maintenance Mike Manoucheri, PE, will be responsible for TECO’s plant engineering and maintenance functions, plus EHS, IT and security.

Michalak, Charlie

Charlie Michalak

Maintenance Manager

Charlie Michalak is TECO’s maintenance manager and has been with the company since 1983. He is responsible for all building, plant and distribution system maintenance as well as parts inventory.

Larry Null, PE

Senior Vice President

Senior Vice President Larry Null, PE, has been with TECO since 1986. He managed TECO’s Master Plan development and created the company’s comprehensive Operator Training and Certification Program.

Ripple, Melissa

Melissa Ripple

Training Manager

Melissa Ripple serves as TECO’s training manager. She works in coordination with Vice President Larry Null who developed the company’s extensive training program over the past decade.

Steve Swinson, PE

President and Chief Executive Officer

Steve Swinson, PE, has been TECO’s president and CEO since 2005. He is responsible for TECO's overall strategic direction and ongoing management and led the company through its $377 million expansion.

Turner, PE, CPE, Bruce

Bruce Turner, PE, CPE

Vice President, Engineering

TECO’s Vice President, Engineering Bruce Turner, PE, CPE, is responsible for plant engineering and maintenance and was TECO’s project manager for the $377 million Master Plan Implementation Project.
