Job Title: Chiller/Boiler Plant Operator I

TECO is searching for an Operator who will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest equipment & technology in a clean, tobacco-free environment. The ideal candidate will operate large refrigeration equipment and medium-pressure boilers and work 12-hr rotating shifts with scheduled OT plus shift differential & 14 days off in a 28-day period.  Requirements include good demonstrated math, reading, & oral communication skills and knowledge of operation of medium-pressure boilers, turbine-driven equipment, pumps and their associated piping, valves and system controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

A minimum of one year experience operating a distributed process controls system is preferred. A boiler operator license and experience and/or training with high-pressure gas or steam turbines are a plus.
