Thermal Energy Corporation (TECO) currently has 1 opening for a Project Coordinator II to coordinate and inspect TECO’s construction projects to ensure compliance with contract, company, and safety standards. This individual acts as liaison between company, contractors, and subcontractors. Must have excellent knowledge of contract administration, construction standards (heavy underground piping and shoring), techniques, and inspection (i.e. weld, concrete, piping, etc.). This individual will be required to obtain contract bids, negotiate, and evaluate engineering and construction firms; review construction drawings and contracts; monitor and inspect construction sites daily; monitor work of contractors daily. Work in confined spaces and on elevated work areas is required. Must have a valid TDL and be insurable. High school diploma or general education degree (GED), three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be dependable, a good communicator, and have strong interpersonal skills. Physical requirements:stoop, kneel, or crouch; climb ladders and work off of scaffolds, lift and/or move up to 75lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
