Current responsibilities and work history

Mycah Jewell, PE, is TECO’s vice president of engineering and maintenance.  He brings years of experience and a comprehensive knowledge of thermal plant operations, maintenance, and safety requirements, having previously served as both a TECO senior project engineer and maintenance manager.

Mycah is responsible for TECO’s engineering and maintenance functions, including design, project management systems and expansion. In this position, he also oversees IT and TECO’s environmental, health and safety programs. 

Mycah was previously employed by Entergy in The Woodlands, Texas, and Exelon in central Pennsylvania.
