As we reflect on 2024, it’s a good time to look back on some of the milestones and memorable moments that brought us here. TECO’s commitment to innovation and creating a collaborative employee experience brought staff together to celebrate accomplishments and participate in events that united our team.
In September, we proudly unveiled the company’s core values, "RISE," representing Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence. October brought the Halloween Spooktacular, a fun and festive touch to the season, where employees gathered to celebrate the season together.
The holiday season brought moments of togetherness and gratitude. November and December featured our Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations, where employees shared festive meals and reflected on a successful year. Thanksgiving kicks off our annual toy drive, a tradition that enables TECO to partner with our customers and donate children’s gifts to those in need. We were extremely proud to set a new record for our 10th annual toy drive, surpassing our goal of 100 toys and gifts with 213 donations!
As the year wound down, we gathered to recognize employees celebrating November and December birthdays. The TECO team challenge continued, with this year’s event titled "Reindeer Games," bringing holiday cheer through friendly competition among departments.
Looking back at these moments, we are proud that 2024 was built on a foundation of collaboration, hard work, and community.
